Upon arrival at Ranthambore National Park around 11:30 pm, you will embark on an exhilarating jungle safari via Gypsy or Canter. Get ready for a thrilling adventure amidst the wild nature of this renowned national park.

Before embarking on a jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park, visitors are required to go through an identification process. Therefore, it is important to remember to bring your original photo ID with you for entry into the park.

The Ranthambore jungle safari is an exciting adventure that lasts approximately 3 hours. You will have the opportunity to explore a designated forest area in either a 6-seater open-top jeep or a 20-seater canter, accompanied by a certified naturalist guide approved by the government. After your thrilling journey through Ranthambore National Park, you will return to the park in the late evening.

The timing of jungle safaris varies depending on the season. Typically, afternoon safaris take place between 2:30pm and 5:30pm. If you are planning a trip to Ranthambore National Park, be sure to check the safari timings beforehand so that you can make the most of your experience.

The jungle safari will conclude around 5:30 pm or 6:00 pm, and after an exciting exploration of Ranthambore National Park, you will be driven back to Jaipur. On the way, if desired, you can ask the driver to make a stop for dinner.

Safari Vehicles : There are two types of vehicles permitted into Ranthambore National Park- the 4 wheel drive jeeps (Open to roof Gypsys, which seat up to 6 visitors) and 16 or 20 seater Canters (open top roof buses).

Tour of Ranthambore Fort : The fort provides a panoramic view of the surrounding Ranthambore National Park and is now a popular tourist attraction. In 2013, at the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee, Ranthambore Fort, along with 5 other forts of Rajasthan, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.
